This morning I went on a run and skipped breakfast entirely. I know that isn't the smartest move, but it was still early on in the day. The moment I got home, I made myself such a delicious Banana-Cocoa Smoothie and the best part is that it was high in calories at all. Not only did I replenish my hunger, I also enriched my body with loads of potassium and Calcium:
Recipe: 1 Medium Banana (105), 1 cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk (30 cals), 2 tbsp Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (<10 cals)
The best part is since it is so filling, you don't even have to finish it all because it makes so much so you actually end up reducing the amount of calories you take in.
This is definitely one of my favorite post workout snacks and I definitely recommend it to all of you!
