Lackluster clothing as a statement?

That's right ladies and gentlemen, it's called Normcore. To give an accurate definition, well just think of a typical American Dad. Let's be real, he is probably wearing some kind of trainers (nike, new balance, adidas), light wash jeans, some kind of polo or hanes shirt, and a baseball cap. This is essentially the inspiration behind this new trend, made up of blandness and little variation of color. I'm actually a huge of of this look. As of late summer, I began to get really into baggy boyfriend jeans, birkenstocks, extremely plain apparel, and never knew that this was an actual way of dressing. For those of who that are more visual I have curated a few pictures that I think accurately depict how this new style has taken the most basic of clothing and turned into the next big thing.
